Protection for Your Clothes
All AEG machines have our ProTex gentle drum, specially designed to take care of your clothes. Gentle water jets lift and protect your laundry as it washes. With more holes than standard machines, our drum reduces the stretching of fabric, maintaining the shape and texture of clothes during spin cycles.
Inverter Motor for a Longer Lifetime
The inverter motor in this appliance works without brushes and at a cooler temperature. The advantage is that this extends the working life of the motor, ensuring it can continue to deliver the same silent performance for longer.

Fantastic capacity, clunky door.
I went for this model as I wanted a machine capable of washing a super king size duvet, at a reasonable price. I have washed our k/s mattress topper on the duvet setting and though it was a tight squeeze, the topper came out clean. Other washes have also been fine.
The information on the pro sense function is unclear - it would be better if the machine just told you how heavy the dry load is. It's strange that only the cottons cycles can take a 10kg load (other materials tend to be lighter, I suppose). The door doesn't shut easily. I miss the ability to add forgotten items after the cycle has started, that my previous machine allowed.

Working well, used daily
A great addition to the wife's hobby of cleaning, like a good husband i always get the best devices for her hobbies of washing & cleaning.
The washing machine washes my underwear really good and makes it easier for my wife when she irons them.
Yep no starch needed.
Also the washing machine is really quite, so while she is enjoying her hobby of cleaning, i can take a really nice earned sleep.
Such a blissful experience.
If AEG would like to donate any other products then i will make sure my wife gets to play with them and she can continue to enjoy her hobbies of cleaning & ironing.

Good value machine with some design faults.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a good quality machine with large 10 kg drum and good spin action so clothes come out almost dry after washing. The centre conditioner compartment is always full of water after every wash so must be emptied or softener pouring over top of water which had a filtering hole which empties. The cycle are mostly long, the economy being nearly 4 hours but can be shortened. It would be better if there was more shortening options for lower temp cycles, e.g. 30 degree washes. It takes a bit of getting used to, the first wash blew out electricity socket which had to be replaced, so beware of electrical differences. But still a good quality machine and good value, we got ours from a known source who also delivered and fitted it free which was also a good bonus.

AEG Washing machine
We were looking for a new machine which could do a wide range of options and at an affordable price with value for money. This hit the spot.
It’s lovely to sit in the kitchen and barely hear it working - so quiet I wondered was it on!
The large door handle takes a bit of getting used to when walking past but is so handy when opening and closing the door.
The large capacity is excellent and will be useful for when the grandchildren stay over.
Great to have options on the time length if the wash too - handy for busy wash days.
Very happy with the purchase and how it has worked so far.

Quality through and through
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Build quality is excellent. Solid doesn't feel like bits will break. Dial.is solid and display easy to read. Time for the various programmes can mostly be spewed at I presume an energy cost. Handy to put the first load on more quickly and then normal while.thw tumble dryer is on. Clothes washed well no problems.on a 30 wash. much more efficient than my old.machine. Would recommend.

Early days but so far so good
i know i gave just four stars but to be honest so far so good, there were a couple of surprises, the fact the machine wouldn't start until i put more washing in the drum (that threw me). i have been asked why i got the 10kg drum machine when there is just the two of us and the machine isn't on everyday but i do like to wash one mixed load of my husbands clothes and this machine does that with ease but you have to own one to understand and if this keeps happening then it'll be five stars and i dryer as next purchase.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a replacement for our old AEG which served us well for 15 years, during which time there was only one issue, easily fixed- new carbon brushes. The new machine has brushless motor, so we are expecting to have it for at least 20 years 😀

Great Functionality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great capacity machine with lots of functions. It also has a shorter one wear cycle that takes about 20 minutes. Some cycles weigh the clothes and adjust the cycle length based on weight.
Nice quiet spin cycle too.
