Pleased with reservations
I bought this to replace 12 year old , tatty but still working Inverter model . I love the flat bed after the turntable but , although I love a new ‘toy’ , it’s taken a few days to get used to all the touches needed to get it to do what I want . My husband can no longer make his own porridge as he can’t cope with it . It needs much more detailed information about the newer functions and recipes and although I accessed the website , downloaded and printed everything relative, there isn’t much . The blurb I read before purchase led me to believe there was a self - cleaning option but it’s only to disperse odours . So , overall I’m pleased but room for improvement .

My third Panasonic Combination Microwave in 25 yea
I replaced my previous Panasonic Combination Microwave so my son could have my older one. I use it ALL the time for everything. I’ve had 3 in 25 years. I hardly use my main cooker as it’s so quick & easy to use this. Does crispy jacket spuds to perfection!! Fluffy inside, crispy on the outside. I do fish fingers for my grandson really quickly. I’d be here all night if I went through everything I use it for. I’ve batch made pastry for mince pies and defrost it when I’m ready to use. Takes about 3 mins on chaos defrost.

A major disappointment
This microwave will really test your patience and I expected much more from Panasonic. While it is a feature-rich product (it just came out after all), it is rather half-baked (pun intented) and everyday tasks like reheating leftovers become an exercise in frustration due to the multi-step process involving button combinations.
Many microwaves have a one-touch 30-second microwave function. But not this model - it takes 6 (!) touches to do that. Actually, almost everything requires a sequence of button presses that makes this microwave extremely cumbersome and unintuitive.
The instruction manual does not help either as it focuses more on teaching you physics 'the principles of microwave cooking' rather than explaining (with clarity) how to use the pre-programmed settings, many of which are confusing in themselves.
I'd forgive lack of the clock function (a design flaw, though), but the overall poor functionality and User Interface is simply not what I expected from Panasonic.

Doesn't seem to have a clock on it only a timer
I initially bought this microwave Combi oven intending to put it in a holiday cottage. It is now in my flat and my standard microwave has gone to the holiday cottage, as for guests this Panasonic is to complicated for guests that are only there for a week, and would need to explain you use metal tray in oven if using comi mode and I would just receive continuous phone calls from guests asking how to use it. It also doesn't seem to have a clock on it to show the time, just a timer that can be set for one and a half hours which seems utterly bizarre to me considering the price of it, so you have to set timer for everything you cook, if you don't have an alternative means of showing the time. Have only had it 2 days I am not able to comment on performance yet but it took a day just to work out how to use it, though took half a day looking for how to set the time on the clock that is not there. Would have returned it if I had known all above before using it, bought from Amazon but no one had reviewed this product when I purchased it.

Frustrating!!
I purchased this microwave to replace a brilliant combi that I had had for approx. 14 years which came with a 154 page detailed instruction and cookery book!! What a disappointment this one is, no instructions and only on-line recipes which are of little use to me. Only by trial and error am I getting to grips with this one. Choose programme, then press start before entering the time etc and pressing start again? Whoever thought of that? I still need to work out how to cook a crispy baked potato that my other one did perfectly in just over 15 mins. I expect I will conquer it but at over 80 I would have preferred some decent instructions. Only recommendable to computer savvy people with time on their hands.

Lots of functions
I bought this for a holiday property principally because I have owned several Panasonic microwaves in the past and have loved them This one does not seem to operate in the same way but I am getting the hang of it However my biggest issue is the absence of a full paper operating manual The only paper accompaniment was a quick set up which really does not cover the basics like how to know when oven is up to temperature and what then to do It would also be helpful to have basic instructions like setting the clock which I still haven’t done!

Not as good as the older model
I bought this because i was so pleased with the old one we had for 5 years, But disappointed not so easy to use as there is no printed manual with it, I know i can download one but to have to do or open that each time i need to use it, So probably will not buy another Panasonic item.

Cannot see control symbols
Many drop down microwaves will be bought to fit into a corner where light is limited. This means the small symbols are very difficult to view against the black background.
