Functional scanner, reasonable price
Reasonable scanner for the price. As with most modern scanners, it's heavily plastic, with a geared mechanism for movement that's not as smooth or quiet as an older scanner with rails, belt, and stepper. Lid is a bit flimsy, as is the glass - treat it gently and it'll be fine.

Delivered overnight and a quick and easy install. I particularly like the fact that not only can you scan to PDF or JPEG, but you can also scan to print, which in effect means that your desktop printer also now becomes a copier when used in conjunction with the Canon scanner. Excellent value.

Does a great job scanning, easy to import into Photoshop. The highest DPI scan had trouble the first time (just hung), but flawless after that. Definitely worth it!
