Reviewing the HP Smart Tank 5105
I purchased this Smart tank printer for mainly home use although I do occasional bulk printing for work on occasion. While the setting up of the printer was easy it is economical on ink and the quality of printing is excellent. I believe it falls down on the following when there is a paper jam there is no real way to access the internal workings of the printer to remove the stuck paper. It is all caged withing the body of the printer. The door of the printer does open to facilitate refilling ink into the tanks but from here the stuck paper is not always visible or easy to remove, I have had 3 occasions to remove stuck paper and once it is pulled out the printer takes weeks to reset and it prints at a super slow rate for ages afterwards.

Perfect printer for small office needs
Easily installed through a simple setup process online. Connection to local wifi all managed by setup process which was a nice surprise. Stepped through loading ink, aligning etc. in a simple and quick series of steps. Connected to and printed via laptop and phone very easily with no issues. Print speed seems adequate. Overall, delighted with the transition from old machine to new.

No. 1 for quality and reliability
Very happy with this purchase. I was converted to HP printers about 30 years or so ago and have had a number over the years, both A4 and A3 format. The quality is second to none and whenever i had a problem the support service was second to none. I wouldn't consider any other make of printer.
My current printer was working fine after 6 years of heavy use but when I discovered there was a 'tank' ink system available I upgraded to the Smart Tank Plus 5105 without a second thought. My grandson is now the proud owner of my previous model and very happy he is with it.
