Low Life Cycle Costs
Having had many cartridge Inkjet HP printers over the years I decided give the Smart Tank 7305 a go. I worked out that on average my spending on cartridges over the life of each previous printer was several time the initial cost of purchase. This time, I have been persuaded by the argument that the life-cycle costs of a Smart Tank will work out lower in the long run. Print quality is every bit as good as you would expect, and the document feeder and double sided printing are real boons. My advice to anyone thinking of getting one would be to pay the small premium to have a document feeder - it is a real time saver, and works brilliantly.

A vast improvement on my last printer which was invariable in an error state or said to be off-line
All printing an copying functions I have used to far have performed well, good quality prints and reliable two sided printing. Previous printer (laser - not HP) wasted more ink and paper than it used successfully.
HP WiFi set up presented a few problems, expressions in the instructions like VPN are not helpful and I am still not sure whether I am connected via my WiFi internet hub or by WiFi Direct so now it seems to be working I am not switching the printer off in case I lose WiFi

Time taken to set up was worthwhile
I bought this 6 weeks ago and struggled to get on line with my computer. I used it as a copier for a week prior to going on holiday. On returning from holiday it took me quite a few attempts to get the computer and printer linked requiring me to seek help via the computer and YouTube. Now it it is working there are no other problems and in fact it’s operating extremely well and I can now print via my mobile phone as well. Setting up the mobile was extremely quick. The colours are excellent and the printer is performing well and is a lot quieter than my old printer, also an HP. Very pleased with the performance and the ink tank process seems to make a difference to the quality. I would hope this printer will last longer than previous model as it is purely for domestic use and no longer for business.

Easiest Set Up Ever
I bought this to replace a previous HP printer so already had the software and a knowledge of how to use it. This is the easiest and best set up guide I have ever used, straight forward and exactly as the guide. An easy printer to use, with every function and the ink tanks seem to be doing a lot of printing and not going down !
If you need easy set up and good running costs this printer delivers

The Smart Tank 7305 printer seems to operate satisfactorily with one failure to print to date
I purchased a Smart Tank 7305 and set it up on 21st July and have printed several thousand pages without problem until I tried to print a downloaded PDF book of 148 pages on 26th August. I received an error message that the printer could not print this document nor just the first page. I reverted to my HP envy 5032 printer and the document printed without difficulty. Otherwise the Smart Tank is printing the documents I send today. Ink usage on the Smart Tank seems to be very good value whilst Ink for the HP Envy 5032 is very expensive in comparison.

So far, well worth the purchase.
I bought this in November, as a Christmas present to myself and left it in the box until Boxing Day.
Setting it up was quite easy, and it is set up to print using my computer, tablet or mobile phone.
I am very pleased to be able to say that it works on all three.

Great updated printing
I am so pleased with my new printer, this is the second printer I’ve had from HP and the last one I had for10plus year's, and this one has been improved with updated ink bottles , which are easier to use and replace, or so it seems so far. Yes very pleased with the printing and operation so far.
