Exceptional piece of kit!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This printer is honestly the best piece of kit I have ever owned! I was original worried about the size, especially after being delivered, but the big box is just due to how well its packaged. Once taken out it fits nicely in my small space, tucked away and not in the way when not in use.
I have tested many of the functions, scanning and printing plenty of things and they have all met my expectations. It's quick and not to loud, there was no issues and was so easy to just do what I needed, ran into no problems.
I also managed to connect all my devices easily and sent things to be printed from the device with no problems what so over.
Honestly don't know how I managed without this thing.

Great little package!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The printer came very well packed, the inside packaging was sturdy. The printer is big, but then it’s going to be as it has so much to offer. I found setup really quick and simple, plug it in and follow the easy peasy instructions. I like the screen it has to show you what is going on and also the little sounds it makes. I printed initially from my iPhone, again easy peasy! It was very fast and no problems at all. I also used my son’s android phone and that again was so simple. I found printing from my think pad a bit more tricky, but to be honest I print most of my stuff from my phone anyway, so it works well for me and is well suited to my needs.
Once you have setup the printer with a laptop it works well, you just need to have a little more patience but it’s not too much of a faff. I haven’t tried from my office pc yet, simply because I haven’t got round to it. I would really recommend this printer, the functions work fantastically, the printer is amazing and the scanner is quick and smooth.

Neat printer & scanner
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First impressions of this printer - I was pleasantly surprised by it's compact size. I am used to a much larger laser printer at work (with a lot fewer functions), but this fits really neatly on my desk at home without taking up much room.
It is really easy to setup with the Brother app; all connected and did my first test print from my phone within a couple of minutes of getting it out of the box.
The touch screen is really intuitive as well so makes it so easy to use and modify the settings with a few quick presses.
I will be using this a lot for printing shipping labels for parcels and I have to say the simple connection to you phone will be a game changer for me. I can download a shipping label on my phone and print the PDF straight off, no need to us the PC at all, and all wireless.
When I tested out the scanner I found a nice feature I didn't expect. You can login to your Google Drive or Dropbox on the printer and send your scans directly there. This is antoher time saver by uploading straight to your cloud storage it means your scans are immediately accessible from all your devices.
All in all I am very impressed by this machine. All the printouts have been perfect quality and it very easy to use.

Putting it through its paces
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I might be slightly unusual in wanting to have a laser printer for art projects, so I really tested my printer to the limits!
Out of the box I was really pleased. The printer is sturdy but relatively easy on the eye. Unpacking it, downloading the Brother Mobile Connect app and getting everything online took a matter of minutes. I was worried it would be complicated, but I was running a test print within about 10 minutes of unpacking it!
It's a great printer for standard office use, but I wanted to make some image transfers to a gel plate, which laser copies are really good for. This worked quite well, but I still need to get to grips with the technique. However, I found that once my acrylic paint print was dry, I could run it through the printer again to bring my design to life. I was extremely pleased with the result and glad that the machine could handle 'unusual' paper in this way without the slightest issue.
It was really quick when operational and I like the colour touchscreen, which also makes it really intuitive as a user. It feels like a really high quality, professional machine that is a real bonus for my household. My daughter is already having me make her own bespoke colouring in pages and print them off. There are a million uses that we can put this fantastic printer to.
I have also used the scanner to digitise some old documents for another art project, and again found that really simple to operate. The results are fantastic, being able to scan in a high resolution at home is another real game changer for me, so I couldn't be happier.
We've set up our EcoPro subscription too, as I really like the fact that you get your toner delivered as and when you need it without any hassle, and for our needs it works out as very inexpensive over the year.
In all the tests I've run so far, I've loved everything about this product. It does everything I want quickly and without needing any special knowledge to operate it. I have no suggestions for how it could be improved!
