Does not print 240 pages, I got about 90pages
Very expensive way to print. I had a printing job to do (240 pages, mostly black and white) . I bought 2 XL cartridges (colour and black). Not enough ink to finish the job and I had to purchase 2 ordinary HP305 cartridges to finish the job, 50pages approx. Some Ink is leftover, but not a lot. I had originally rang a local printer for a price to print the 240pages, and was quoted 60 euro, so basically it cost be 'double' to print the job at home, AND the hassle of watching the printer, changing and buying cartridges. HP might be a cheap printer, but its too EXPENSIVE to use for as an everyday home printer.

240 pages,..lol..dream on...70 pages max on the xl cartridge
I had a big print job, 240 pages, local printing firm were charging 60euro, so i decided Id buy the ink and have ink leftover. 2 black 305xl cartridges and 1 colour 305xl cartridge for my HP2800 printer, Ive used all the ink (115 euro approx) and still have 50 pages to print...so disappointing...HP might be an inexpensive printer but the ink is a killer.
