In order to earn the TUF Gaming name, these laptops must successfully survive a rigorous battery of MIL-STD-810H tests. Test devices are exposed to drops, vibration, humidity, and extreme temperatures to ensure reliability. Powerful components require powerful cooling, so we’ve equipped the TUF Gaming A16 with a whole suite of technology to keep it running at peak performance. From the 2nd Gen Arc Flow Fans inspired by aircraft engines to a full-width heatsink and integrated dust filters, the A16 will never lose its cool.
2nd Gen ARC Flow Fans
ASUS added small bends at the end of each of the 84 primary blades that improve both motor efficiency and turbulence. The fans also now feature a dual-impeller design, with a smaller set of 42 fan blades inside that allow more air to be sucked through with each rotation, similar to a jet turbine. These fans consume 16% less power while increasing airflow by 11%, enabling the high-performance components inside to run their very best.
Inward Airflow 2.0
The Arc Flow fan shrouds have small cutouts designed to channel small amounts of air into the chassis and over the mainboard, keeping surface-mounted components cooler during extended gaming sessions.
Full-Width Heatsink
Thermal energy is dissipated by a large, full-width heatsink that spans the entire length of the laptop. Lined with ultra-thin copper fins, this massive amount of surface area allows the system to more easily exhaust hot air out of the rear vents.
Full-Width Heat Pipes
An array of heat pipes spread across the full width of the chassis, efficiently moving heat from the CPU and GPU to the heatsink.
0DB Ambient Cooling
Enjoy truly silent cooling under light workloads with 0dB Ambient Cooling technology. In the Silent operating mode, the cooling system switches off all its fans during light tasks to dissipate heat passively. This lets you concentrate on your work and immerse yourself in movies with less distraction. If CPU or GPU temperatures increase, the fans automatically switch on again.

Arm yourself with a desktop-style keyboard optimized for gaming. One Zone RGB backlighting lets you brilliantly express your own unique style. Overstroke technology triggers higher in each keystroke for faster responsiveness and effortless control. In true TUF form, each key is durable enough to withstand over 20 million presses for superb long-term reliability and precision. The touchpad also has a report rate of 240Hz, giving the system more information on what you’re scrolling for and reducing accidental misclicks.

Fast and reliable Wi-Fi 6E (802.11ax) ensures that you'll be able to get online and be productive wherever compatible connections are available, or you can wire up directly with gigabit Ethernet on-board. For added signal stability at long ranges, the A16 also employs TAS technology, giving you more freedom to work and play away from your router.

When you need to game or work on the go, the 2025 TUF Gaming A16 has more than enough juice to get the job done. A large 90Wh battery allows you to work away from the wall for longer, and USB Type-C charging allows you charging flexibility if you left the power supply at home.

Two speakers powered by Dolby Atmos ensure a high-fidelity soundstage. Hi-Res Audio delivers music the way the artist intended over headphones. Two-way AI Noise Cancelation keeps incoming and outgoing communications clear of background noise, letting you focus on the action.

Richer audio draws you more deeply into gameplay and media. Virtual 5.1.2-channel surround sound powered by Dolby Atmos enhances spatial immersion with more nuanced, layered sound effects that you can optimize with specially tuned preset modes for movies and games.
AI Noise Cancellation
ASUS advanced Two-Way AI Noise cancellation technology runs on the CPU, which frees up the GPU to hit higher framerates. It works with any input device and also with downstream connections, letting you remove noise from both your own mic input and from incoming feeds. Noise-canceling settings can even be customized per program, filtering specific apps like voice chat without affecting game audio you want to remain untouched.
