Fantastic eReader
It's very customisable and there's a few quality of life things I enjoy on it more than my previous eReader by another very well known brand.
Being able to adjust the front light and warmth of the screen without having to go to dropdown menu's for starters is just class!
More fonts are available out of the box.
Being able to customise different zones of the screen for during reading for different actions is also a lovely touch.
It has support for more file types too than other eReaders.
Page turn buttons, send to Pocketbook (send by email same another leading brand)
The build quality too feels great and the form-factor is slightly smaller making it easier to fit into pockets yet the screen size is the same as Kindle Oasis. Also the margin options on the PB are better as I can adjust the text to fill up more of the screen.

PocketBook Era a Layman's Review
I'd been reading Novels on my Samsung S10 for a bout 3 months after a while It was straining on my eyes from both the harshness of a bright screen and the small font sizes, after doing some shopping around I found the Era which perfectly fit my requirements, I wanted a reader with a "lip" Check, I wanted a device with page buttons Check and I wanted a device which was easy to sideload ePubs onto Check.
I've been using the Era now for over a month and have worked my way through 5 books, over 2000 Chapters and 10000 pages at least and its phenomenal the "lip" really provides a nice comfortable way to hold it and the chamfered corners means it doesn't dig into your palm, The buttons are well placed and you don't have to strain your thumb going between back or forward a page. As an added bonus you can make your own sleep screen Icon albeit with a little tech knowledge but it adds an amazing level of personalisation. The E-Ink screen is great its my first but I've had absolutely 0 eye strain from reading in well lit rooms or pitch black rooms, the "smartlight" and brightness are easily adjustable to suit your lighting conditions a simple swipe up/down on the left or right side of your screen. I genuinely cant recommend it enough compared to other E-Reader ecosystems out there.
