Camera G100 Select supports 24/7 local recording to microSD cards (up to 512GB, sold separately) and backup to local NAS servers[3]. Time-lapse capture[4] compresses a day’s events into 15 seconds, compresses hours of footage into a short, shareable video, perfect for quickly reviewing an entire day at a glance. With the optional HomeGuardian cloud solution, recordings are end-to-end encrypted and key events triggered by connected sensors are automatically captured and marked, making it easy to find important moments in the video timeline while protecting your data.
Local and Cloud AI Detection
This camera is equipped with basic local AI detections, which will help you to only receive notification when a human is detected (motion and person detection). For advanced Cloud AI detection[5], capable of accurately recognising faces, vehicles, pets, and packages (requires a HomeGuardian plan subscription), which puts the camera on par with higher-end cameras.

Notes:
- To use the device with HomeKit Secure Video, an iCloud plan, and an Apple Home hub are required. The resolution of Camera G100 Select in Aqara Home is limited to 1296P, and the maximum resolution in Apple Home is 1080P, when both Apple Home and Aqara Home are connected, the maximum resolution of Camera G100 Select in Aqara Home will also be downgraded from 1296P to 1080P. It can be restored when HomeKit is disconnected.
