Limited range makes it of limited use
Having set up in the house it works as expected, however, move it too far away from the doorbell itself (but still connected to the WiFi) and it stops working (my E340 doorbell is connected to my Homebase 3 over the Homebase's network, not over house WiFi as that is the only way to get it to store video to the Homebase).
Support didn't seem to know why, but presumably, it needs to be in range of the doorbell for a direct connection which makes the ability to add multiple chimes pretty useless as if they are all within range of the doorbell then you can hear them all at the same time!

Eufy Mini Base Chime
Please note the chime don't notify you for motion detect like it states in bracket or on Eufy sales page,
The app sends notification to the phone but not the chime, if someone ring the doorbell yes but not motion notification, thumbs down.
Also there should the option to personalised you own notifications

make sure what you buy works with existing system
Bought the mini base chime to add to my existing unit but after setting up as per instructions it did not ring with existing doorbell chime after numerous attempts i decided to return and get a refund which was quite a laborious task as i kept having to send details after details via email but eventually got the outcome that i wanted which was a returns notice and a refund

Minibase Chime
Works well once setup. I had to use 3 different phones to get 2 of these setup, the phone app needs alot of work as IMHO the older the phone the worse it works. As its also a hub it knocked out all the security cams and hub3 which is rather annoying.... If its just for the door bell then as long as the phone/app work together then should be fine

Can't receive real-time notifications when motion is detected at your door!
Disappointed as Eufy chime does not notify when motion detected by door bell. The advertising statement is mis-leading -> "Receive real-time notifications when someone rings the doorbell, or if motion is detected at your door." It's not true! Only notify when doorbell is pressed. They should correct this!!!

C31 compatibility????
Bought this chime with the C31 doorbell thinking I could use the chime for the sd card location (instead of the doorbell). But it appears it does not work with this config. Hope this is fixed soon, otherwise I feel I’ve been misled!
