Harvey Norman Best price not guaranteed
I bought this item today in Harvey Norman Castlebar at a cost of €179.95. This item was available in Harvey Norman Galway yesterday at a cost of €129 but the assistant 6069/52 told me he did not have it in stock. He then sold me a Eufy Video Doorbell 2k add on which would not work without a back up solution at a cost of 79.95

Homebase pumped up
My home base 2, bitten the dust. I got this to better manage my in house camera too. It works very well and the ai makes the already good system much smarter and responsive. I would recommend it if you’re planning to do a whole house setup. Hard to justify the cost as a replacement for the Homebase 2 though.

If you are invested with Eufy this is a great upgrade
I have purchased this Homebase 3 to replace my Homebase 2. I have done this to avail of the additional upgradable storage (NOT Included) and 24/7 recording option with certain cameras the Homebase 3 can now make use of. Along with a nice selection of AI features the new base has, it is a worthy upgrade.
Note to all that use Apple Homekit!
Homebase 3 is not compatible with Apple Homekit so any cameras you add to it that were in Apple Home will not appear in Apple Home after you add them to HomeBase 3. That being said I prefer the dedicated APP from Eufy to manage and look at recordings anyway and the 4k recording from compatible cameras is a massive upgrade from the 1080p on Homekit anyway.
Also note that your outdoor cameras will need to be removed from Homebase 2 before they can add to Homebase 3, there is no transfer option. I also have an indoor cam and this did transfer so in typical Eufy fashion all their accessories appear to have different functions and ways to move them from one to the other.
All in all this has been a very successful purchase and I am very pleased with the product.

Simple to set up and get started
Only took a few minutes to get set up and connected to my devices.. upgraded from the Homebase 2 and I can see already the benefits of the upgrade well worth the purchase
