We bought these to work with our Alexa Show and they have been fab. We used them to control our Christmas lights as well as other lights around the living room, converting regular lights into "smart" lights. They were super easy and quick to set up and would certainly recommend these for people entering into the smart home world

Ideal smart plugs and energy monitoring too
We use these smart plugs throughout our home. They are easy to set up. We schedule lamps to come on with some of them for security. With the energy monitoring feature we can see which items are using most electricity and we can also see when the tumble dryer in our shed has finished - the energy being used drops right down - so that saves us going in and out to check. Very useful and reliable smart plugs.

Really happy with the TP-Link Tapo Smart Plug
I’ve had them for a couple of weeks now and honestly, they just work. Setup took maybe 40 seconds per plug, the Wi-Fi connection never drops, and the energy monitoring is spot-on. What I love most is the Tapo app: it’s ridiculously simple, no bloated menus or useless “smart scenes” forced on you, just plug list, on/off buttons, timers, schedules and clear graphs of power usage. Nothing more, nothing less – exactly what I want.

This TP-Link Tapo smart plug is fantastic! Super easy to set up and control via the Tapo app. I love being able to schedule devices and control them remotely – it's incredibly convenient and adds a real sense of modern comfort to my home. Highly recommend for effortless smart home integration.

Fantastic devices. Did not work so well, ie did not do what the app told them to do, until firmware updates. Use Smart, Automation to control 3 of them, allows one change to affect all 3, very handy. Seems to link well to other Tapo devices, if you had any, might get some in the future. Looks like an example that a Tapo camera might be able to turn on one of these devices, (I don't have Tapo cameras so cannot check fully).
