When being used as a laptop(actually sitting on your lap) over a desktop, the rear leg can put pressure on your thigh. Not noticable for the most part but a more smooth support would be beneficial.
Another minor thing is the depth of the phone holder, you would have remove any protective cover in order to fit the slot.
As a USB powered, cooling platform it works perfectly. No real drain on the battery and more than adequately cools the computer.

Does exactly what it says on the tin
My laptop had been having issues with getting overheated and nothing seemed to work. I bought this cooling stand and it has worked wonders. Easy to set up, and it will suit most laptops. An excellent choice if you want to keep your laptop from getting too overheated.

The Weak Central Fan
The central fan is weak and already broken, so I had to start it manually every time.
I gave up on it eventually, and just put a standard table fan behind of it.
and only after that modification the cooling process became acceptable.
