Good monitor, but some things to keep in mind
Monitor is of very good quality for the money, however, i wish to mention 2 things:
1. Title doesn't say it, but its actually curved
2. Base and stand in my personal opinion lack in adequacy a bit, as monitor is too heavy, so it might shake a bit, especially if its not a big desk.

I bought this for my son for his gaming PC. He loves it. It has brought a greater dimension and reality to his games and seems to take up less space than a standard 27" monitor. The colour and sound are excellent too. It also works very well for projects and standard office work.

Superb monitor, highly recommended
Monitor was unavailable in store however able to order very easily online for delivery to the Waterford store. Arrived much early than anticipated and my son is absolutely thrilled with it.
