You need this if your phone supports 25 watt charg
I bought this 5amp cable as I had a 25 watt charger so though may aswell get the fast charging of I need it but I keep my phone on normal charging rate . I only super fast charge if in a rush or need a fast charge as 25 watt charger and cable is fast . So fast you notice the performance and 1.8 meter cable great movement no restrictions . I've just bought 2 more 25 watt chargers and the 1.8 meter 5amp cable for 2 family members and they are elderly but even then noticed the spleen increase of charging and convenience of they longgggggg cable and quality as thicket as taker 5amp that's nearly 100 watts this cable could handle .

Terrible, lasts just months with careful use
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Same as other folks on here, I've had my cable for just over a year (like 14 months) and it's stopped working - it's literally been used by my bedside the whole time, careful use, no pulling on it or being rough taking it in and out of the phone, WELL below expected levels of functionality for such a crazy expensive item. Shame on you Samsung!! Sort it out! We pay good money for premium products...you'll lose customers if you provide rubbish for premium prices!

Easily breaks and cheaper elsewhere!
Rubbish. Over priced and worked for 3 months then broke.
I'd understand if I was taking it in and out the house and in my backpack but it stayed in one place and still couldn't take it. Cheap parts. Better alternatives elsewhere and cheaper.

Charges fast but not for long!
Supports super fast charging 2.0 so charges quickly, but very poorly designed. After only about 6 months of normal, careful use (wasn't ever knocked about or kwpt in bags or whatever), some kind of soldered connection has broken inside the rectangular shielding part around the metal connector and now my cable only works when inserted at a certain angle so I have to buy a new one at this rificulous price! Avoid and save yourself the e-waste!

Long lead but doesn't last long
Only lasted about a year and this is without what you would consider heavy use. It was used to charge my phone on a night to the side of my bed so not pulled, bent or wrapped round things etc

Good product
I've had my cable for over 1 year and I take itfrom home to work and it is still going great. I'm buying a new cable for my partner as hers looks to have broken as she's very rough and stretches her cable when using it.

Worst quality charger for Samsung product.
I got this cable with my new phone in November and it's already bent and not working. Unable to charge my phone in less than a year
It's quite expensive for just a charger and to have such cheap quality is daylight robbery. Do not invest your money on this product.
