The Digitus USB Type A to USB-C adapter allows you to use your existing USB Type-C devices with an older USB A connection. The adapter supports USB 3.0 with data transfers up to 5 Gbps and provides a maximum output of 15 W (3 A). You can switch between USB 3.0 and USB 2.0 speeds by simply turning the USB-C connector, provided they are supported by the USB A port. The integrated 56k lifting resistor protects your devices from overload damage and supplies only as much power as the connected USB-C device needs. With this adapter, you can use all previous USB versions that are backward compatible with USB 2.0/1.1 standards.

Doesn't support the claimed data speed
Bought this as an adapter for my PC, which lacks enough USB-C ports, but I do have USB-A. I also have an ethernet adapter that is USB-C, through which I get in excess of 900Mbps. Using this though, I get around 340Mbps. So it works, kinda, but not stella performance, but I guess that is what you get for this price, from this brand.

Does the job perfectly & without issue.
Excellent piece of kit. Basic, hard to get wrong to be honest. Does exactly what it says on the packet. I needed this to link my new Rode Wireless Pro Charging Case via 2015 Mac Book Pro that doesn't support USB-C natively. Does the job perfectly & without issue.

This is a handy little connection as my port on the laptop won't work with the docking station. the monitor, mouse and keyboard seem to be fine but my laptop wasn't being charged using this connection
