More to dislike than like
We have just had a new kitchen installed and ALL our appliances were manufactured by AEG - so, expect a lot of reviews!
I have used the new hob and hood tonight and, I must admit, that I am somewhat disappointed with the hood.
What I like - The hood automatically switches on when I turn the hob on and it is efficient.
What I don't like - This thing is loud and I really dislike the LED lights. These are very yellow, which doesn't suit my eye condition and they look odd in comparison to the rest of the kitchen. A higher colour temperature (6,500) would have been much better, making the food look more appetizing too.
There appears to be little I can do to fix this as it requires a visit from a technician so they are not standard bulbs that could be swapped.
As I have very poor eyesight, I also reply on sound a lot and can gauge cooking temperature by the sound of things boiling or frying - but not with this hood switched on! it is so loud I can't hear a thing.

Job extraction
Overall happy with the fan. Like the connection it has when hob comes on. Minor point though is how noisy it is even on number 1setting. Having it on breeze is ok but anything above that annoyingly loud.
