Description

It combines a precise solid-state formaldehyde sensor with a unique catalytic filter that continuously destroys formaldehyde. Rated 4 out of 5 by from Directly cool, excellently hot fan! 🔥 We bought this fan in June when the temperature was exhaustingly hot 🔥. If it was positioned in front of us directly it chilled us down but the room itself was not cooled. Which was not always useful as we had a 5 month old in the room with us. This will be fantastic in the winter as I tried the heating part and it was hot so there will be no issues heating the room! I do feel that when we have been unwell the speed at which we have got better was faster whilst having the purifier mode on, but it does dry out the room which did have a side effect of coughing! Otherwise, an excellent fan that I would not do without now, we'll worth the money!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it I’ve had this a few weeks now and use it every day mostly we don’t notice it’s on unless I burn the toast and it kicks up a notch. My asthma has been a lot better and I haven’t need to use my inhalers unless I go outside. The cooling fan is effective much better than I thought from some reviews and it is very good at heating up the room when the temperature drops on an evening. It is quite tall but the footprint isn’t big so it stays out of the way, fairly stable our bouncy dog hasn’t knocked it over as yet. Only one niggle is carry handles on the main body would be useful. Yes it’s outrageously expensive but preferable to asthma attacks.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just outstanding! Sometimes it's just worth paying for the best! I've waited two years to buy one of these, and it was worth the wait. You can almost smell the difference in the room air after about 20 mins. Cools the whole room (14 x 16') from 30 degrees heat in about 15 mins. I love that you can tilt the whole unit - even whilst it's turning - to change the direction of the air (I use it to cool the dog when he's on the sofa). I also love all the info you get on the App that comes with it - really explains and tracks it all so well. Lastly - I'm forever losing remotes - but not this one! It's always on top of the fan :-) Nice one Dyson!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Noisy heater Had this for about 4 weeks now. It seems to do a great job of monitoring and purifying and I can imagine the fan is great in warmer conditions. One thing I can't believe is the extreme noise that the heater makes. Even on the lowest fan setting its not something you want in the same room as you, which kind of defeats the point. Only useful for warming a room before you enter it really. For the price I was expecting something much quieter and am rather disappointed. I need it for the purifying element otherwise it would be going back. The app and remote are both excellent.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Expensive fan Dyson love to charge a premium for features you don't want or need. I just wanted a purifier but this is more like a over complicated fan. If poor air quality is detected it blasts you with cool air which is not ideal in the middle of winter. The only option you have is to set the temperature higher then you are paying to heat the room when you have central heating. A purifies should just sit in the corner and discreetly clean the air, not make you feel like you are in a hurricane every time the air quality drops. Unless you really want the heater function get something like the Philips which does a great job or purifying the air without blowing in your face constantly.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good but could be better. I find the heater really excellent for supplying quick heat and purifying a room. Haven’t used the cool function yet. Love that it can be controlled via the app also. I’m surprised the unit does not contain two handles for lifting it and moving it, especially since you are not supposed to lift it by the element. It’s very awkward to pick up. I think also it should have a longer flex since you are not supposed to use an extension cord.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fantastic product - amazing app great piece of equipment. Only used it in summer but it’s so quiet you can have the fan on during the night. It doesn’t cool the air, it blows the air, so if you’re looking for an air conditioner this isn’t it. The app is brilliant - you can control everything from it and it’s so easy to use. Timers, angle of fan, fan speed and you can even make it so you choose the temperature of the room and the fan works it out for you. The insights which it gives on purity are brilliant too

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worth every penny! Absolutely amazing device!!! My cat has asthma and this device has made our lives so much better, there is a significant improvement in the air quality. I never realised how bad the air quality was in my flat, living in the city centre, I now realise what difference this device has made. The air, to me, feels fresher and cleaner (stats prove this). My cat can breathe again and rarely needs his inhaler now. The heating/cooling function is also very efficient and can heat/cool a 16m2 room in 20 minutes whilst being light on the wallet. I'm very happy with this purchase and have recommended it to everyone!
