Easy very easy to use
I bought this as my husband had a throat operation and needed to be on soft food for a good while - my original thought was another appliance which is going to sit on work surface and hardly used ... well i was wrong I have made some great nutritious delicious soups so far and so quick put chopped veg in stock cube water press the button and 30 mins later done - I am not one to faff about in kitchen and this ninja will get used most def - one criticism is that if you lift out jug to pour some soup then the blender goes off the keeping heat mode - but otherwise can’t fault it and it also has an efficient self clean function !

Like nothing I've used before
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only owned this product for a short time but I honestly have never tried anything quite like it before.
I made some soup with it the other day and it's definitely the creamiest and nicest soup I've ever made. The whole product is easy to set up, use and clean too. Each function has it's own timing and cooks/blends/sautés to perfection.
There's no messing around scrubbing it for ours once you've finished with it; things come off extremely easily with a quick blast of warm water.
I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking at a combination product like this, definitely 10/10.

I <3 this blender
As someone who always used (and broke as I am a bit careless) cheap blenders, I was dubious about this purchase. However, three days in and I believe it has paid for itself. I'm ill at the moment and normally making soup to make myself better is a trial and something I can't be bothered to do, but managed to make a vitamin packed soup with minium effort and without feeling sorry for myself- result. It also self cleans so I didn't have to expend energy on that either. I have tried the ice-cream making mode as well and managed to make a passable dessert. I will post a later review to see if this honeymoon period lasts, but at the moment it's just what the doctor ordered!

Waste of money.
This product has so much it can do and it works quite well with the couple settings I have tried. Only thing that has put me off it and is the reason I absolutely hate it and it’s sitting on my counter collecting dust is that it is impossible to clean. Electrics are connected to the jug so it cannot be cleaned properly in water it can only be cleaned using the self clean function which is an amazing idea but most times does not clean as well as it should and it becomes very difficult trying to get pieces of food out from cracks and crannies that would normally be cleared with a good soak and scrub.

loved my ninja but....
This is the 2nd soupninja I've had, I have loved it but... the first one I had leaked through the little lid (though it was secured) there was play in it, during cleaning function hot suds came flying out. So returned and got new, same exact thing! Except this one also the digital screen and functions have completely cut out twice while using blend function. It's such a good processor, if it wasnt for the same fault in the lid twice I'd be much happier with it, right now I dont know if it's worth getting it replaced again to possibly fave the same issue a 3rd time? Customer service from ninja has been good though I bought my product through very. Just really disappointed as I really liked it.

Straightforward to use lovely soup
Very quick delivery. Easy to use. Lovely soup. We've made 3 soups since we got it- tomato soups and a leek and potato.
The recipes say makes 4 servings and they certainly do! I'm sticking to their revipes and perfecting them yo my taste but am excited to try more. The booklet with it makes me feel confident about experimenting with other flavours.
We need to work on our seasoning ratios but that is not the soup makers fault.
It is incredibly easy and straightforward to use.
We've only used smooth soup /cook then blend. As someone who get heat fatigue it is great to be able to put things in and leave it to do its thing.
I also love the clean function and have used it every time.

Great soup maker, but...
This is a great soup maker, far superior to the previous soup maker I used to have - which was nothing more than an electric kettle with a blender at the base. The inbuilt saute function and the different degress of "chopping" makes this highly versatile. The one BIG negative point is that it is a real pain to clean. It is not possible to separate the glass jug from the base (as you can with almost any other food processor). Given its bulk and weight this makes it really awkward to clean.

Amazing soup maker....
Simply Brilliant - so quick and easy and would definitely recommend - the only thing i wish is that they would make it dishwasher proof too as even after the clean cycle it often still needs additional cleaning but this doesn't detract from how simple it is to use. When my friends ask how my soup is so good, they dont believe me when i say it takes 30 minutes in my soup maker. Until i show them. Also, it is quick enough to make soup at any time when you are stuck for something to have for your meal. I tend to use frozen veg to make the soup so you always have the ingredients in the house.
