[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for camping but also was able to lend it to a friend who was renovating their home as they didn’t have a working hob. It’s not to heavy nor too big so can be left out or popped into a cupboard/ storage quite easily and doesn’t take up too much space. There aren’t too many crazy buttons etc- it’s a simple stove. The only thing I can say as a negative is that unlike with gas/fire once it’s off it’s off but with this hob being electric you have to take the food off straight away otherwise it’ll continue to cook for a further 10mins before cooling down.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for a busy kitchen [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We recently had a new kitchen fitted and my wife decided that she liked the look of the hob where the burners are in a diamond shape. Well turns out that this is not practical as you can only fit 2, possibly 3 pans on it at a time. With a household of 5 this became a bit of an issue. Then along comes this hob, stylish in looks and with 2 burners/plates to put pans on. The y heat up very quickly and to a high heat and have plenty of room between. This has made cooking so much easier. Not only is it great for your kitchen but it will come in handy if like us you like to go camping (with electric hook up) or even as an extra cooking station in the car den along side you Bbq.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Do not buy Mini Hob Had 1st hob about 2 years ago it was very good ,it cooked food good but after a good year it stopped working [got a lot of use] got 2nd hob ,that worked like 1st one did again for a year until about 5 weeks ago , from then i have had 5 more as not can cook food anymore ,they keep turning off , its taking 10 mins to do a fried eggs,just do not keep hot to cook fried food

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Lovely little hob [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this a few weeks ago and have found this to be really handy when having family round and needing extra space for multiple pans on the go. With the product being a mini hob as you'd expect it only takes small pans and it does take a while to heat up and cool down after use. Not much of a problem as long as kept safely out the way until cooled down, my toddler is now tall enough to reach the worktops and tries her best to grab everything if given a nanosecond of not being watched. Also easy to clean and doesn't take up much space when put away.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Faulty large hotplate Bought this 2 years ago. Only used during camping holidays ... approximately 6 weeks a year. Now, for no reason the large hotplate is not heating. Very frustrating as I cannot find a solution to the problem. The manual is more about recipes than the product itself. Surely, I wouldn't just buy this to learn how to cook. Provide more information on the product rather than waste pages on recipes that no one is likely to follow. Sending this back to the manufacturer would cost more in postage than the thing is worth.

It is made out of stainless steal has two cast iron hotplates a large and small one. Easy to clean and has two individual heating controls so can heat one or two hotplates individually with individual temperature. It's easy to store and compact. I've cooked many meals from hotpot,chicken stews to fry up all meals have came out excellent. A very well compact mini hob that does what it sets out to do.

Also if having problems with our gas stove we can still cook. Heats up really quick and very easy to use. It not too big and can be stored away easily. Really impressed.

This has been so handy, i’ve used this twice so far in the garden. It is perfect for use outdoors, its small and compact and easy to move around. The hobs take a while to heat uo but not an issue at all. It does the job fine and cooke food as normal. It’s great for use when having garden parties, saves your kitchen from getting messy and smelly. I’ll be using this a lot more as the warmer weather comes in.
