Touchselect: All at the Touch of a Finger.

With this new control panel, you can regulate the desired cooking zone easily. Simply select the power level you need. And the new QuickStart- and ReStartfunctions make cooking even easier.

Powerboost: Extra Added Power!

Extra added power: The improved PowerBoost function in our induction hobs adds even more power to speed up the cooking process. For example, you can now boil 2 litres of water almost three times as fast as on a conventional glass-ceramic hob.

Cookings Starts Much Faster.

The QuickStart function detects where you have placed the pot and automatically displays the corresponding cooking zone on the control interface. You can get started straight away and select the desired cooking level for your pot without delay.

Stores your Control Settings.

If you turn off the cooktop it saves the last selected setting for a short time. If the cooktop is switched of within a short time again the former settings are still available.

The Handy Childlock Locks the Control Panel.

The handy ChildLock locks the control panel to prevent accidental changes in settings.

Induction hobs generate heat only where it is needed – in the base of the pan. What does this mean for you? More safety and more convenience. The lower temperature keeps both big and little hands safe from burning. Not only that, but an induction hob brings two litres of water to a boil twice as fast as a glass-ceramic hob, which also saves a great deal of energy.

Safety:
  • 2 stage residual heat indicator for each zone: indicates which cooking zones are still hot or warm.
  • Control panel lock: prevent unintended activation of the hob.
  • Freeze function: wipe overboiled liquids without unintentionally changing settings (blocking all touch buttons for 30 seconds).
  • Main on/off switch: switch off all cooking zones at the touch of a button.
  • Safety cut-out switch-off: for safety reasons, heating stops after a preset time if not used (possible to customise).

PIE611B15E I am in the process of purchasing this item but need to know if it can be vented to an outside wall that is directly behind the appliance. I've looked at your technical data but can only find what looks like a venting to a side wall.

Hello, Can this hob recirculate with the vent directly out the back panel of a kitchen unit (through a back panel)? what part would be required?

Hi, thanks for contacting Bosch Q & A. The appliance will come with an unducted re circulation kit. This contains the filters and a telescopic slide which slides into the back of the hob. An installation with unducted recirculation requires a vertical aperture of min. 25mm behind the backpanel of the furniture. Suggested for ideal performance is 50mm. I hope this helps. Thanks, Mandy.

Can the odour filter be "refreshed", or is replacement the only way to improve operation of the odour filter? How often does the odour filter needs replacement? What is the model, and where can I buy it in the UK?

Hi, I have ordered this Hob and planning to use it in an island and on recirculating mode. Will I still need to cut out the square for the back of the Hob? If so what Is the purpose of it, will there be hot air coming out or is it for the intake of air?

Hi, Thanks for contacting Bosch Q&A. The recirculation route can take quite a few different forms, including down and out through the plinth if needed. As such, you don't necessarily need a hole at the back. This is for the removal of the air outflow. Thanks - Craig
