Description
Eco Circulaire
Some models have Eco Circulaire in place of Circulaire but the 2 functions work in the same way. This is the most energy efficient standard oven function for the cooker.
Check out the video:
Fan with Lower Element/Circogas
In electric ovens this combination completes cooking more quickly of foods that are ready on the surface, but that require more cooking inside, without further browning. In gas ovens the fan distributes the heat quickly and evenly throughout the oven cavity, avoiding flavour transfer when cooking a number of different dishes at the same time.
Check out the video:
Lower Heating Element Only
Ideal for foods that require extra base temperature without browning, e.g. pastry dishes, pizza. Also suitable for slow cooking of stews and casseroles.
Upper and Fan with Grill Elementower Element Only
A traditional cooking method best suited for single items located in the centre of the oven. The top of the oven will always be hottest. Ideal for roast, fruit cakes, bread.
Check out the video:
Fan with grill element
The fan reduces the fierce heat from the grill, providing an excellent method of grilling various foods, chops, steaks, sausages etc. giving even browning and heat distribution, without drying out the food. The top two levels recommended for use, and the lower part of the oven can be used to keep items warm at the same time, an excellent facility when cooking a grilled breakfast. Half grill (centre portion only) is ideal for small quantities of food.
Check out the video:
Grill Element
For rapid cooking and browning of foods. Best results can be obtained by using the top shelf for small items, the lower shelves for larger ones, such as chops or sausages. For half grill heat is generated only at the centre of the element, so is ideal for smaller quantities.
Fan with Upper and Lower Elements
The elements combined with the fan aim to provide more uniform heat, a similar method to conventional cooking, so pre-heat is required. Most suitable for items requiring slow cooking methods.
Upper and Lower Element Only
A traditional cooking method best suited for single items located in the centre of the oven. The top of the oven will always be hottest. Ideal for roast, fruit cakes, bread etc.
Snowflake
With the switch on this symbol, no heating is possible even if the thermostat is turned.
Safe Cook
Smeg ovens incorporate safe cook, the system for closed door grilling to keep cooking smells inside the oven and ensure a safe cooking environment.
Victoria Aesthetic
Inspired by Smeg’s very first ‘Elisabeth’ cooker produced in 1948, the Victoria range perfectly captures the essence of timeless classic design and exclusive aesthetics, thanks to Smeg’s signature 1950’s style branding and premium build quality.
An Abundance of Features
The 110cm wide dual fuel TR4110 cooker features an award winning multifunction main oven and auxiliary oven, both offering conventional and fan cooking. They each have a generous 61 litre net capacity, 4 shelf positions and feature side opening doors. In addition, there is a separate 36 litre fully variable grill for controllable closed door grilling on two levels, as well as a convenient pullout storage drawer for pans and baking trays.
Seven Burner Gas Hob
The flexible gas hob has 7 variable power burners including a large, high power wok burner. A stainless steel teppanyaki grill plate is also available as an optional extra, which can be placed over two burners for direct contact cooking.
Closed Door Grilling
Closed door grilling allows you to grill with the door closed, keeping cooking smells inside the oven and out of the kitchen to ensure a safe cooking environment and reduced energy consumption.
Easy Clean Enamel Interior
The enamel finish of the oven cavity has a special antacid lining which helps to reduce the amount of dirt adhering to the surface.
Side Opening Doors
This cooker has side opening doors which allow easy access letting you get closer to the oven, especially useful for people with mobility limitations.
Vapor Clean Programme
Smeg ovens offer a vapor clean programme designed to generate steam to help release burnt on food from the walls of the oven. Vapour cleaning is straightforward, simply put a little water & detergent into the hollow in the oven base and select the vapour setting.
