Once installed, Video Doorbell Wired will not sound your existing doorbell chime. For audio notifications around your home, pair with a Ring Chime, a compatible Alexa-enabled device, or choose a Video Doorbell and Chime bundle.

Select Your Power Source

If your existing doorbell wiring system is incompatible we recommend installation by a qualified electrician using Ring DIN Rail Transformer. Alternatively, you can use Ring Plug-In Adapter to power Video Doorbell Wired from a standard electrical socket.

Follow the Steps on the Ring App

Once you have decided which installation option is best for you, follow the full installation steps on the free Ring app. Don't forget to add a Ring Chime to hear notifications around your home.
