Poor quality
Purchased item on 02/01/24, first use of item today 14/01/24 first task cleaning car seats………..not even 5minutes in and hose has failed, very poor quality and no flexibility for cleaning car seats

Waste pipe split
Brought this about 18months because we have naughty dogs. My initial view is that it was really good, easy to use and clean however, now we have found the clear pipe has split open and you can't get a replacement pipe.. we have lots of sharks products and general quite good, this durability of ghis pipe is not very good and now it seems that my machine is scrap. With the price of this you would like to think it would last longer than 18 months!!!! My mrs has done some research and found this yo be a common problem, I am going to contact Shark to see what their response will be for this issue. At the moment I am very unhappy with this product and I would stay clear.

Great product with a bad design flaw
I really love this little stain cleaner it's an absolute must if you've got an old or even messy pet. That's why I gave it 2 stars, but the reason it was only 2 is that I have to return it! I'm gutted, because it works great but I fear if I get another, the same thing will happen. This is because the fault on mine is exactly the same as others I've seen in the reviews. The hose has split where it meets the handheld part. It does seem to be a design flaw and I'm sure future models will come with a strain relief collar. As a side note, to keep the unit compact you have to really pull the house tight around the unit when putting it away, to get it into its holder and I think this could be a contributing factor.

Not what I expected
Not as amazing as I'd hoped... I'm usially a huge fan of Shark products (and have a lot of them), however, this doesn't work as well as i expected. The results of cleaning carpet stains and sofas isn't what it looked like it would be in the promotional videos.
The stain spray shoots out everywhere and then takes a lot of going over to try and soak up the wetness. Various carpet stains and ground in dirt are still visible and will need another going over. The sofa took a long time to dry off and could do with another clean.
Not a quick and easy solution to cleaning stains.

Brilliant for smaller areas.
Bought this for cleaning the stairs, dining chairs and sofa on a regular basis from the dirt and grime from three large dogs and it hasn't disappointed.
I previously used another well know carpet cleaner and its attachments for small cleaning areas but always seemed to end up with leaking connections and wet furniture that couldn't be sat on for hours.. Not any more.
Can be used pretty much straight out of the box and, after use, stores away easily.
The amount of dirt it removed surprised and shamed me. I thought the carpet was only slightly dirty..until i used this 🤦🏻♂️
Its easy to use and,even when full, isn't too heavy to carry.
A great bit of kit for cleaning those smaller areas when other brand upright cleaners with attachments are too much hassle to set up.

Almost perfect
The product is sturdy and freshened up the high wear areas on settees and chairs which saved having to pay a professional- which paid for the machine on its first use. Only 2 critiques 1) the hose is too short to store easily in the bracket 2) the fluids cannot be decanted to save for the next use without losing most of it. The instructions tell you to empty everything after use so a half or quarter mark for the cleaning solution would be useful.

Good for everyday clean
The Shark StainStriker is great for everyday spills and pet messes but struggles with tough stains like markers. If you need a quick and easy cleaner for small messes, it’s a good choice—but it’s not a magic eraser for everything. As a parent of a small child, I needed a reliable cleaner for everyday cleaning. The Shark StainStriker is compact and easy to use, making it great for quick cleanups.
I like it is lightweight & easy to use. Its works well on spills. It cleaned juice, food stains, and dirt from my carpet and sofa.
Unfortunately it did not clean markers from sofa and the cleaning solution is expensive.

A Must for Pet Owners
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product to review & have to say for anyone with a pet it’s a great machine especially if you have a puppy it’s easy to operate & removes any stains from carpets with an added feature of a special attachment for poo accidents, the machine would be equally useful to clean spillage stains. I also used to clean some stains from mat in garage which had been there for a considerable time & this cleaned them first time. It was easy to set up & empty & as you can see certainly removed dirty marks.

Great little cleaner
I purchased this as my current carpet vac doesn't have accessories to clean the stairs or car. I also wanted something lightweight and portable for any unexpected spills. I had borrowed a friend's cordless machine (another brand) and wasn't impressed. I thought with this being Shark and Corded it might be more powerful. Only had it a few weeks. So far cleaned the stairs and car seats and these look like new. I also used it on the sofa. I have a Newfie who has a very oily coat so was leaving a tide mark on the sofa when he passed it. Can honestly say I was amazed how quick and effortless it was to remove with this. The bottles of solution smell nice too. Great results all round.

Great Product - Shark StainStriker Pet Stain &Spot
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product has proven to be excellent for cleaning carpets and household items. I used it to clean the hallway carpet, kitchen chairs and even my son's car seat, effectively removing stains and eliminating the smell of vomit. I'm particularly pleased with the attachments, which make it easy to clean small and tight areas. The thoughtful design, including the option to wrap cables around the unit and the cap for the hose attachment, shows that Shark has considered every detail, as they always do.

Amazing little machine
Amazing little thing! So easy to use and also clean! I brought this first then decided I needed the actual upright version! This is so good for cleaning little spillages and also cleaning the stairs! It’s quite light and fits on the stairs easily compared to the upright! Easy to fill and to empty! A must have if you have kids and pets. The cleaning solution smells amazing and this also sucks up the water unlike other brands! It really does get rid of stains out of the carpets ( like makeup) I brought this on the Black Friday deals, if you’re thinking about getting one, do it, you won’t be disappointed!

The best cleaner ever.
This is the best little cleaner I've had or tried and believe me I've tried them all. Absolutely brilliant. Got all my marks out of my carpet including a jar of Tikka mysala curry that smashed. Only problem hose needs to be longer.

Leaked and blocked up very quickly - used once
Really disappointed - there were holes where the liquid goes and this leaked. The Shark StainStriker blocked very quickly. I contacted Shark who did arrange collect and replacement. Unfortunately I have had to chase them for updates due to no collection taking place when it was booked in for and no replacement received. This has been on-going for 1 month.

Results

Brilliant spot cleaner
This is an amazing spot cleaner. We bought a second hand sofa and while we were moving it into her the house it scuffed along the wet ground and got a dirty mark on it. We were going to get it professionally cleaned but have other Shark products and this came up on a Google search and it was on a Black Friday deal so we bought it. It did a fantastic job of cleaning the corner of the sofa and a small mark on one of the cushions. The pet mess head is genius and I’m sure will be used the next time the cat is sick on the carpet.

Great value for your money
Does what it says! Brilliant piece of kit, I can't believe what you get for the money. Cleaned my stairs the day it came and then all my car seats the day after, the dirt that it brought up 🤢 it's very light and easy to carry, the main pipe can get in the way at times but never stopped me from cleaning everything.

5star super clean sofa and carpets
Can believe the dirt this picked up from my carpets after cleaning them before hand with another model, and when purchased this thought had to try it yet it picked up more dirt an stubborn stains that my older upright never picked up. However doing a full hall carpet an stairs my back was sore however this won’t stop me using this compact cleaner as brings carpets up to new condition same with my sofa an not water marks left once dried.

Absolutely love this, bought it to clean my sofa that I have had for 5 years and the shark strain striker did a 5* job cleaning it. It was easy to use once I read the instructions a few times and even better it explains how to clean it after use. Definitely will come in handy in the future for other things!

Proper Good Cleaner!!
For all the review critics of this product, you must be using it wrong, it fair sucks my carpets off the grippers! Sucks all that accidental yellow puppy liquid right out of the fibres and leaves it smelling fresh again. That was the reason we purchased it and it does exactly what it says perfectly. Also great for cleaning those bottom few steps of the stair carpet that always seem to be muckier than the rest, little spray of Scotchguard after and good as new. Fully recommend for instant cleaning up Kiddy and Puppy/Dog spills, but don't purchase if you're thinking of large area carpet cleaning, it is is a small and very handy sized portable machine only for tackling small spills and stains etc.

Powerful little machine
This is a powerful little machine that is easily portable. I like the way that all the parts are easy to clean after use. Great for sucking up spills. I was rather puzzled by the warning on the packaging that it was not suitable for wool carpets, something not made obvious when buying online. I spoke to Shark customer services and they suggested testing on an area of carpet that was not visible. This was fine and so I kept the machine and have used it successfully several times with no visible harm to my wool carpets.

Good Spot Cleaner - Does the job
I really like the my new spot cleaner - it is easy to transport, does the job on most stains and I have discovered I now need to clean all of my carpets as I now have random clean spots. I would say it does struggle slightly on old stains that has been there a while but new stains are removed really well. Being able to see the dirty water is fascinating. My own complaint is mine leaks from somewhere on the bottom when it is not being used. Not a huge leak just a small amount of water creating a small puddle under it when stored. But I would recommend it as a spot cleaner if you need one.

Love it excellent little machine
I bought this little machine for my sofa as we have dogs it's come up fabulous. I have also cleaned the bedroom carpet and stairs and landing and honestly I'm so happy with it. I love shark products. I have added a photo of my carpet and I can't believe how dirty it was. The kids don't listen to the no shoes policy lol anyway I'm saving now for the upright carpet cleaner and a new hoover from shark.

Great product
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this as a free product and was majorly impressed with how easy to use and how amazing a job it did especially seeing as I have a large dog and messy 7 year old
It brought the carpet new life and took out all the various stains having a dog a child thar spills drinks constantly
Also used in the car and brought the seats where the dog had been up lovely and clean with no water marks or stains left
The only con I found was that it uses a lot of product in one go but for the great job it does its worth it
I did take photos of various projects however my phone broke and I lost them however I shall try and update my review next time I use it

Amazing stain busting machine
I absolutely love this product. Has different head attachments for different sizes off stain. I have done my landing/ stairs and the whole of my front room and the scrubbing tool really helped to get into the stains deeply.
The only down side is i feel you need to really push the head down hard to suck up the water so makes your arms ache. But saying that i still would buy again

Really impressed, definitely recommend
Amazing! I also have the vax platinum stand up cleaner but wanted a smaller one for the car and stairs. I’m impressed! The suction is really strong and I love how it comes with a wider attachment and the tiny bit which definitely helped with my flooded car!
My only downside was that the plug prongs aren’t completely straight? I presume a fault but with abit of force I can still plug it in and works as normal. I’ve beeb to use the warranty to fix this but not had the time and can’t be done via online
