Super impressed with this little guy
It perfect for small homes. We love our coffee and this has been the best partner in our coffee experience. It takes a few days to get the perfect shot but once you dial it you get consistent barista quality drinks right at home. We have tried with different coffee beans and really impressed how this performs each time. Milk texturing it perfect for our liking, i like it extra hot with less foam and this just the right setting for it. Only niggle is that the machine is too light, you need to hold it tight when you fit the portafilter but you will get used to it when you do it regularly. All in all we are pleased with this little guy.

Would be five stars but cleaning is a serious headache
I've owned this machine for about a year now, having previously owned one of its larger siblings. It is capable of producing good espresso and the automatic milk frothing is a breeze.
Cleaning, however, is another matter. Fair enough, it demands I run a cleaning cycle and will not operate until I do so, but the instructions on the cleaning cycle are incorrect (acknowledged by support) and it is IMPOSSIBLE to avoid making a huge mess when running it, as the drip tray is not large enough to catch the liquid pumped directly into it during the process, and the portafilter remains under high pressure at the end of the cleaning cycle, still containing hot dirty and soapy liquid.
This is a significant design flaw.

Great prosumer machine, as manual or automatic as you like
After spending ages watching reviews for coffee machines, I chose the Bambino Plus for its out of the box performance and features.
Other machines at a similar pricepoint may need modifications to achieve the same results.
Im able to make a wonderful pre-infused espresso and can leave the automated milk steaming to create frothy milk for a cappuccino, or steam milk for a hot chocolate.
The machine is easy to use, easy to clean and making coffees has become my hobby.
Just make sure you have a decent coffee grinder if you want to use the standard baskets!

Addicted to latte.
Makes great espresso with the pressurised baskets . Then one can graduate to the standard baskets ,experimenting with grind size ,tamp pressure ,dose and yield. It does take a certain amount of time to get to a flavour better than the standard brew but it is well worth the effort .
Milk steamer; automatic steaming makes a decent microfoam , IMPORTANT , follow the jug placement instructions to the letter or the temperature sensor will not activate.
Yet again ,if you persevere with manual steaming the Bambino will produce perfect silky microfoam ( Lance Hendrick ,YouTube ).
WARNING!
You will never ever be able to enjoy a cup of "High Street " coffee ever again . It will taste so disappointing .

We have been using the bambino for tree months now and have just received a new water filter. We have been making a mix of double espresso, full cream latte and skinny lattes daily. The machine to date has been faultless. We have given the bambino 5 stars we would have given 6 if the instructions for cleaning had been correct. It seems there are differences between USA and UK/ Europe for the Sage and Breville machines. Following the instructions supplied led to a lot of head scratching. We found the answers on youtube! Regards.

Hands down the best purchase of 2020
I had spent quite a lot of time researching for a high quality home coffee machine before deciding on the Bambino Plus. In the 6 months I had it, it really had exceeded all of my expectations. It is a simple to use, no-fuss machine that consistently turn out high-quality coffee with minimal preparation - its perfect for anyone who want great coffee at home without acquiring skills more befitting of a professional barista. The only slight negative is that the required maintenance (descaling, cleaning...etc) can be a little fiddly but the customer service team are very helpful in helping me resolving some of the questions I had.

Easy to use
Reply fast and easy to use. Been very happy with it upto now. It appears to be going rusty on one side. The brown speaks will not go away/ wipe off. I know it’s made of stainless steel, but there are various grades, of which the lower grades do rust. See photos attached.

Great coffee machine which produces some seriously good coffee
I am very happy with this product, I have the sage grinder to accompany this machine with both are perfect together. The coffee machine itself makes lovely coffee and the milk frother makes the perfect micro foam for making latte art, the only negative I have to say with this and the reason it got 4 stars and not 5 is the machine is a tad too light so when you put the portafilter in or take it out the whole machine moves which is quite annoying, but I wouldn’t let that put you off purchasing one as it’s a great little machine which is easy to use and produces some seriously good coffee just as good as you would get in a coffee shop.
