Reliable and Feature-Packed Doorbell

Eufy doorbell camera
I had a Ring doorbell for the last few years, the night vision was so bad that I decided to try the Eufy - the difference is spectacular - the camera quality is excellent, both daytime and nighttime. I don’t use the infrared lights option and I can see everything super clear. I gave it 4/5 stars because sometimes it doesn’t pick up motion at night, but maybe if I mess around with the settings some more it will improve

Excellent video doorbell
Brilliant equipment. I've installed it as part of the rest of the Eufy surveillance equipment at home, bit this is able to operate as per its own.

Activity zones do not work.
Vehicles and humans way outside the set zones are recorded meaning alerts are every few seconds. I've now turned vehicle detection off as can't put up with all the unwanted false notifications.
Colour night vision is also a joke. It says it keeps the lights on when lighting is low but that's a lie. The doorbell records b&w then switches part way through to colour when the lights come on. I've found having it turned completely off with a porch light on is the best way for full colour night recordings.

Purchased with a quad E330 camera kit with base station 3 and a E340 Floodlight Cam. Setup was really easy and the picture quality is excellent. The twin camera setup on the doorbell, one pointing at your visitor and one in the “parcel spot” in front of the door is perfect and it conveniently counts your visitors and when packages come and go. Was a little worried about this being a battery device - but after nearly a month it has only dropped to 90%.
All in all very impressed and would (and already did) recommend to others.

Absolutely brilliant
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’m really impressed with my Eufy E340 video doorbell! It delivers sharp 2K video quality and dual-camera coverage, giving me a clear view of visitors at the door as well as what’s happening right below the porch. The colour night vision works really well, and even after dark I can make out faces clearly. The built-in 8 GB local storage means I don’t have to pay any monthly subscription fees just to record and review footage — a feature I value a lot. The two-way audio and app control are intuitive, making it easy to see and talk to whoever’s at the door from anywhere. Overall, the E340 feels like a premium and smart upgrade to my home security setup, with great day-to-day performance and excellent value for money

Great quality product
So far, this is a great product. It was really easy to install and the angle bracket allows you to position the doorbell to get the near exact view you want. The picture quality is great. I haven’t tried the audio yet so can’t comment on that. What ultimately sold this to me was that you don’t have the expensive subscription attached but you can still download and keep any videos you want. There are occasional small ‘jumps’ and time lags in some of the captured videos but overall, definitely worth the money.
