We loved the rustic and sturdy look of this bed but after 3 weeks a big crack appeared on the front of the head board. I contacted the costumer service but I was told that they have a "72 hour timeframe for reporting physical damage". How was I going to report the damage in 72h if it wasn't there? I thought every product have a 2 years guarantee! We spent over 1000 euros in a bed, in one of the most popular furniture stores in Ireland and we got the same result as if we had bought a 200 euros bed in my local boot market. After a few emails and complaints they offered a repair, happy days! I thought. Someone came and put some glue on it. You still can see the crack!! We don't consider acceptable to have a bed this expensive (and this new) with a crack on the front of it covered in glue.
I wouldn't recommend buying this bed as, for my experience, is not as robust as it looks and I wouldn't recommend buying in Harvey Norman all together as I found their costumer service in a very low standard.

Would be hesitant to recommend...
The bed frame looks nice and feels sturdy, but the workmanship on it is of lesser quality. We tried to put the bed together today and some items didn't fit properly, the measurements were off by more than a margin of error and we were unable to secure one of the bolts as it wouldn't actually fit properly. For the price, I expected the item to be of much higher quality.

Lovely bed but frame far too long
It is a gorgeous solid bed with very handy storage behind the head. However, the SuperKing frame is approx 6inches too long for the standard SuperKing mattress and sticks out a lot, which is very disappointing. We will attempt to cut it off and rejoin but feel we shouldn’t have to do that bearing in mind the price we paid for it.

Coolmore bedframe
Love the bed. Makes our room look so much better. It's also very solid and pretty straight forward to set up! You definitely need 2 people to do it. I just dropped one star because the frame of the bed is about 3inches too long for the mattress we bought specifically for the frame, we can hide it easily with the duvet cover though.

Good but not perfect
The bedframe is beautiful and sturdy, but as previously mentioned by other customers the frame has some extra space - so when the mattress is put on top you're able to see the slats on the sides and top/bottom. Would be 5 stars if the fit was more precise.

Gorgeous bed, super fast delivery
The bed is gorgeous. We love the shelf for putting books on or a drink. Delivery was super fast and the bed was very straightforward to assemble.

Won’t be purchasing at HN ever again
Absolutely disgusted with Harvey Norman’s shenanigans with sale prices. 2 weeks after a 20% sale they offer the same bed for 50%. We were saving to buy the bedside lockers to go with our bed. Not a chance now.
