    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Poor relibility I must add to the list of issues with reliability on the Neff warming drawer. I purchased an N21H40N3GB drawer almost exactly 4 years ago when it was top of the range. This was purchased along with 7 other Neff appliances for our new kitchen. The warming drawer has stopped working and the replacement drawer is very expensive - this must be priced to discourage you from fixing it and to buy a new unit instead. In the meantime the styling of the range has changed so the new N17HH11N0B does not match the rest of the appliances. I am thinking about buying a plain stainless steel one from somewhere else and at least match it will match the rest of the appliances.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Warming drawer failure very disappointing! I have a warming drawer model number N21H40N3GB, which was the previous model to this one. I purchased it a few years ago, along with several other products to match from Neff. It has just stopped working with exactly the same problem as everyone else. The light flashes, as if the door isn't closed properly and it doesn't heat up. I am extremely disappointed, as this was not a cheap product and I believed the brand Neff to be a reputable brand which would last. I cannot afford to have a Neff engineer to repair this and feel that Neff should do something about this recurrent fault!

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yet another warming drawer failure................ We purcahsed the N17HH20NOB/02 along with 8 other NEFF appliances when we installed our new kitchen in July 2016. Barely has the warranty period expired when the drawer has now refused to close. The cost to effect the repair via NEFF is exorbitant, for what seems to be an issue with the catch mechansim, compared to the original purchase price. We feel completely shortchanged and let down given the level of investment we made in choosing NEFF. Not happy about this at all! PS I have a video clip showing the issue, but was unable to get this web page to accept it.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Dissapointing I also own a Neff Warming Draw (N17HH11N0B/02). The unit was purchased new mid 2014 but did not get used until early 2015 due to a delayed kitchen installation. Even then it has been infrequently used which makes its failure so early very disappointing for the £352 outlay. It failed early 2019, and because is now out of warrantee and I have some electrical/mechanical skills decided to investigate the cause of failure myself rather than pay the engineer callout costs. The failure symptoms are when turned on by the rotary switch the unit gives the flashing red light even with the draw closed, but strangely sometimes when switched on the red light does not flash immediately even with the draw closed, but eventually does flash. In all cases the Hot Plate does not get hot, but on switch setting 4 the fan heater (left hand side behind the switch) does work, then after a while red light starts flashing. I removed and dismantled the unit, first inspecting the spring-loaded Coupling (NEFF Part No 00612218, £31.34) at back of the Hot Plate draw. All was fine, no burning or signs of mechanical / alignment damage so this is not why the Hot Plate is not working. I disconnected the Hot Plate terminals, and checked its resistance with multimeter. I got a reading of 125 Ohms so decided to connect 240vAC directly, bypassing the units Power Module, to see if it get hot. Yes, it did, so it’s not a failed Hot Plate or the spring-loaded Coupling causing the problem. I then checked the voltage being supplied by the Power Module (NEFF Part No 12025294, £102.26) to the Hot Plate and found it was 5vDC, it should be 240vAC. I traced the cables back to the Power Module which had two Omron Relays (Omron Part Nos G5LA-1, 10A / 277vAC) pin mounted on the Printed Circuit Board (PCB). One is being used to switch the Hot Plate the second the Heater/Fan. 5vDC is probably PCB’s/relays control voltage, therefore it seemed to me the Hot Plate relay has failed causing the fault. This theory was backed up by the second relay working and supplying the Fan Heater with 240vAC on rotary switch setting 4. An equivalent replacement relay is £2.72 from RS Components (Part No 793-3768), but to remove the old relay would probably damage the delicate Power Module as the relay is pin mounted to the PCB and is surrounded by delicate surface mounted components, but I had a go anyway. Yes, you guessed it, removing the relay did damage some of the PCB’s power tracks because the relay pins were tightly fitted and soldered to the PCB. Also, heat has probably damaged some surface mounted components as well due to discoloration. So, I admitted defeat ordering and fitting new NEFF Power Module which has fixed the fault. I can hear the relays clicking on/off and the Hot Plate gets hot, until the next time it fails. £102.26 is expensive for a simple circuit board but much cheaper than a service engineer callout plus parts, or buying a new unit. Can’t say I’m impressed with how long the Warming Draw has lasted considering its limited use, and the NEFF website reviews tell the same story, I’ll be adding comments myself. Hope my experience has been useful. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from NEFF N17HH11N0B Warming Drawer We bought this in March 2018 along with other NEFF appliances to go into our new kitchen extension which wasn't completed until the Autumn. I think we must have used the drawer about a dozen times and then then we had the flashing red light and it not heating up. We called customer services to get repaired and we were just able to get it within the warranty in March 2019. When the engineer came, he said that this was a well known problem with the warming drawer and a clear design fault. He also told us that the drawer would remain in warranty for another year after his repair. Well, the drawer has gone again after 6 months of him repairing with exactly the same fault. I called NEFF Customer Services and they told me that it was not in warranty (after being told by the engineer it would be)and that we would have to pay £109 call out charge and then parts on top. After reading some of these reviews, I am now wondering whether to cancel the engineer appointment this week as don't want to keep paying out to have this repaired when there is clearly a design fault.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Shoddy Just after two years after purchase, the unit has ceased to work just like the other reviews here. The red light flashes as if the door is open and only heats up at one point on the right. Seems a common occurrence according to the reviews here and is very disappointing that so many have found the same problem. I expect a well-respected and not inexpensive unit to last a lot longer. I hope Neff can come and fix/replace what is turning out to be an inherent basic flaw with the unit.

    Rated 1 out of 5 by from Yet another drawer failure!!!!! Of 6 appliances purchased from Neff to fit out our new kitchen just over 3 years ago we are into our second unit failure. First issue was with the American fridge freezer that was only rectified due to an excellent Neff technician, now the warming drawer! We spent a lot of effort in looking through all the different manufacturers before purchasing the Neff products. We are exceptionally disappointed with the durability of the products we have purchased.
