MusicCast employs a high performance wireless network to deliver music and audio enjoyment. It can stream digital music content from your smartphone, PC or NAS to other MusicCast devices in your home. It can also share the music from external devices such as a TV or Blu-ray Disc™ player connected to the RX-V481. Audio content from Bluetooth®-connected smartphones or tablets can also be streamed to MusicCast devices in multiple rooms.
This AV receiver is equipped with Bluetooth functionality to let you enjoy easy wireless music playback from smartphones and other devices. Yamaha Compressed Music Enhancer is now optimised for Bluetooth audio transmission to ensure that your music will have vivid, lively sound quality even during wireless playback.
The RX-V481 is equipped with the latest Bluetooth technology, making wireless operation more convenient than ever. You can stream music from the RX-V481 to Bluetooth headphones for private listening or to Bluetooth speakers.
This AV receiver completely supports with the latest HDMI® standards. Thanks to transmission of 4K video at 60 frames per second pass-through, you can fully enjoy the high definition video quality of 4K without degradation. It also adheres to the HDCP2.2 copyright protection standard for 4K video transmission. It also supports HDR (High Dynamic Range) Video which provide enhanced picture quality by simultaneously enabling greater detail for both the dark and bright parts of an image. Furthermore it supports wider colour gamut of BT.2020 pass-through.
3D means the receiver can handle 3D signal data. The Audio Return Channel function enables data to be sent and received via the same HDMI cable, so you can hear the sound from the TV via a single HDMI cable, with no need for an extra optical cable.
Wi-Fi Built-in capability allows wireless connection with your household wireless router, greatly simplifying system connections to enjoy network audio and music streaming services. If no Wi-Fi router is available, the unique Wireless Direct feature not only allows you to stream music directly from your smartphone or tablet via AV Controller App's Music Play feature, iOS's AirPlay® etc, but also control your receiver using the AV Controller app.
This AV receiver provides a variety of network functions that enable you to access more sources and also enhance operation. You can connect the receiver to your home network or internet to enjoy Internet Radio, Spotify®*, Pandora®*, JUKE or music stored on a NAS and home PC. The AV Controller app (from iTunes App Store or Google play) lets you control various functions from your iPod, iPhone, iPad or Android phones / tablets. *Music service availability varies by region.
Use your smartphone or tablet together with the MusicCast CONTROLLER app to operate the speaker and change settings quickly and easily. The same Controller app functions as a remote control for all your MusicCast-compatible devices too.

With Product Care you can relax knowing your purchase comes with additional protection. Product Care covers all parts, labour and call-out fees for an UNLIMITED amount of repairs. Product Care will only use an authorized repairer network which means the job is done right the first time.
You can choose the length of your Product Care to add additional benefits and protection for your product from the end of the manufacturer’s warranty. Choose from either 2, 3 or 4 years.

Product Care covers wear and tear, defects in materials and workmanship. It also covers breakdowns caused by dust and internal overheating.
If you sell your product, or provide it as a gift to someone, your cover and any unredeemed entitlements can be transferred to the new owner. Simply contact us to arrange transfer of ownership.
Product Care covers your products anywhere in the world for up to €150. It also covers you in any country Harvey Norman operate in. These countries include Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Slovenia and Croatia.

Making a claim is simple and we are here to help you through every step of the process. Simply:
Having Product Care with your purchase means you can enjoy benefits that are exclusive to you, such as cover for Accidental Damage, that will help you to enjoy the experience of your new product even more.
Product Care covers you for accidental drops, spills, cracked screens and unintentional accidents for 12 months.
If your product is a fridge or freezer, Product Care will cover up to €150 for any food spoilage that occurs as a result of a covered fault.
If your product is a washer or dryer, Product Care will cover up to €50 for laundry expenses if your product is out of service for more than 10 days from the time you notify us of the fault.
If your product costs more than €200 and has had two qualified service repairs and requires a third during the term of the plan, your product will be replaced.
Product Care offers cover against breakdowns from electrical interference, power surges or voltage fluctuations.
*2yr replacement plan commences when the manufacturer’s express warranty over the product finishes.
