Up to 23 different types of stains can be treated in a Miele washing machine up to three types of stains at the same time. Simply select the appropriate programme option and the wash programme will be adjusted accordingly to suit the specific stain. Miele washing machines with EcoFeedback provide precise energy and water consumption data. This gives you full cost control. Before starting a programme, you can request a consumption forecast for the selected programme. Precise consumption data is provided after the programme has finished as consumption can vary depending on the load.
If the Pre ironing or Steam smoothing option is selected, the drum is heated after the final spin. This has a smoothing effect and loosens the laundry which can then be easily removed. And most of all Ironing is easier and faster.
Miele is the only manufacturer of domestic appliances to enamel the front panels of all washing machines, tumble dryers and washer dryers. The high quality enamel is scratch proof, corrosion proof, alkaline resistant, impervious to acids, easy to clean and colour fast.
Miele carries out intensive endurance tests during the development stage in order to meet the highest quality standards. During these tests appliances have to wash for 10,000 hours. The Water Control System (WCS) monitors the water intake with a water level sensor. Water intake is stopped automatically if the normal water level is not reached. If there is water leakage inside the machine, the inlet valve inside the machine closes and water in the suds container is pumped away. A float switch in the drip tray also detects leaking water.
Miele provides protection for your home for all Miele water protection systems - for appliances used for the equivalent of 20 years. Should you incur damage to property as a result of a defect in the water protection system you have a safety guarantee. After every wash programme, the AutoClean detergent dispenser drawer is rinsed through with several powerful jets of water. This removes any detergent residue thoroughly. The particularly smooth surface finish assists the rinsing process. This ensures that the dispenser compartment remains clean.
The delay start feature allows you to determine when you want the next wash programme to start. This is particularly advantageous if you want to use nighttime electricity tariffs or if the programme needs to be finished at a certain time, for instance when you come home from work. You can postpone the start of a programme by up to 24 hours. The display also indicates when the current programme will finish.
