Rated 3 out of 5 by from Good but. The printer itself is fine. I bought it to replace a similar model that had developed a fault, so I was quite familiar with it's features. I've marked it down because of the nightmare that I had connecting it. I spent over two hours on this and finally had to enrol a computer expert who, in turn, took thirty minutes. He told me that this is not uncommon with HP printers. It's an area that needs addressing as without the availability of my friend, I would have returned the printer as faulty.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good Product poor set up This printer is a quantum leap forward from my previous printer which I had for a number of years. Like the advert says "It does what it says on the tin". My problem was with the way you are supposed to do the set up. The written instructions are very brief while the booklet is quite thick because of all the languages in it, It took me two and a half hours to get the drivers installed on my computer talking to my printer. Oh for the days printers came with a set up disk.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A nice product.... Lovely printer, good features, good look and feel and works brilliantly; somewhat too brilliantly on set-up! On auto setting up the wi-fi for the printer it found my next door neighbours i-pad and insisted on using it for web-services! Only found out when I printed out the network settings. His house is over 80 feet away! Had to change my router SSID and then all went well.... Good quality print outs. Only had the printer for a few days so time will tell....

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rubbish Set up is complicated and time-consuming. Set up with one pc and quickly used the trial cartridges. Unable to set up the second pc to share. Tried ordering new cartridges, XL version via the HP forwarding system and they are not available. Ordinary cartridges will be insufficient. Without cartridges, the second PC cannot be set up. Slow and expensive printing. Wiil be retruning it and looking at other manufacturers.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So simple to set up and use The 5030 printer was recommended to me as the most suitable for inter acting with my I Pad. Normally I always seemed to have issues with the setting up process but on this occasion it was plain sailing. For Blue tooth application it is perfect and the printing quality is perfect. It was also a no brainer the “Instant Ink Packae “ that HP offer. If I ever have to replace this printer it will be an HP

Rated 1 out of 5 by from 1 hour to setup and will not enable web services. Hands down the worst printer iv ever bought. Every detail I own over 1 hour and please enable this and register that. Warning to others. Do not use Bluetooth to set it up its a total disaster. For being HP even their connect page links do not work properly. Could not enable web services or set up an email or register for the ink service. Constantly round in circles. Furious!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good machine Bought this machine when my HP Deskjet F4580 died, found it easy to set up instructions were very clear both for the printer and the wi-fi. The machine seems solid enough, if I had one niggle that would be the paper catcher, seems a little flimsy just a 2" wide guide sticking out at the front, other than that ok prints nice and clear. Happy with purchase.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from This product is a pain in the neck I have loved and relied on HP printers for years - as a teacher they were essential to my work. So when the last one finally stopped working I went straight for another HP. BIG MISTAKE. It took so long to download whatever I needed to connect the printer to wifi and laptop, same problem with second laptop. My old HP printer I just clicked/tapped on connect to printer/PRINT and it worked from any device. Not now. I signed up for Instant Ink. Another mistake! The ink cartridges arrived, briilliant, were installed when needed, good. Then I got an email saying my printer was offline so I am off Instant Ink (it isn't offline and anyway if it was for a while should that be a problem?) and now it won't print because it has decided I am not registered for Instant Ink even though I got my receipt this week. Too much technology can be a very bad thing. It may be better if I just sign off Instant Ink but the trouble connecting in the first place? don't buy it!!

  4. Bring your "order confirmation number" to the store you selected for pick up, along with photo ID and the credit card you used to make the order.
