Showhouse Featuered Designer

Jackie Carton

Interior Designer from Dublin

Jackie Carton is a 45-year-old designer from Dublin www.stylemyroom.ie who’s work has featured in plenty of print media. She has never done a showhouse per se but has completed Full house fit outs on budgets of €40,000 - €50,000. Jackie is mostly drawn to modern and contemporary styles but also likes Fusion or transitional styling. She loves the timeless quality of mid-century modern furniture but isn’t a fan of ‘shabby chic’ or faux bdistressed furniture, over-use of bling and or blandness (magnolia walls and brown furniture!). She sees the challenge as: ‘trying to retain a unique and visually stimulating look within the Showhouse without alienating the viewers’.

Showhouse Featuered Designer

Nuala Dempster

Interior Designer

Nuala is an interior designer with an architecture degree and Track record as head designer for luxury kitchens Poggenpohl and Allmilmo. Previously she has designed everything from: a Dublin City restaurant to a Private home in Brittas Bay (construction to completion), a fit out for a Women’s boutique to the Wexford Golf Clubhouse etc. She prides herself on client skills and while in architectural practice Nuala achieved a worldwide company award for client satisfaction.

Nuala loves style that will endure, that’s timeless but current (she’s not a big fan of the seventies plastic revolution!). For the Showhouse she looks forward to the challenge of (1) creating something with a ‘wow’ factor for the developer and (2) making a statement without alienating the whole market. For Nuala lighting levels are important.
